Marine Pure

Are inert ceramic substrates with high surface area AND open-flow porosity. This unique combination of properties allows for the creation of a thin bio-film to spread throughout the entire part. The beneficial bacteria in this thin bio-film can then efficiently eliminate ammonia and nitrates. MarinePure can also house the anaerobic bacteria that reduces nitrats.

MarinePure provides approximately 150,000ft2/ft3 of usable surface area (510m2/L).
